TJACH is a broad coalition of faith based organizations, community groups, public and private agencies, and interested individuals. By Executive Order 13279 President Bush directed executive branch agencies, including HUD, to take steps to ensure that Federal policy and programs are fully open to faith-based and community organizations.
The White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives is a helpful resource, being charged with strengthening the partnership between the Federal government and faith-based and community groups. (Federal Register, March 3 2004)
