FROM I-64:
Take the Fifth Street exit off I-64. Turn left off the exit ramp if coming from the west, turn right off the exit ramp if coming from the east.
Go into Charlottesville on Fifth Street -- approximately 3 miles, during which the name will change to Ridge Street.
At the junction of Ridge (Fifth) Street and Main Street, there is a large statue of Lewis and Clark. At this point Ridge Street become Ridge-McIntire Road.

FROM U.S.29 NORTH:
Take 29 South toward Charlottesville. When 29 South intersects the Bypass, take the right turn exit onto the 250 East Bypass (toward Richmond).
Follow the 250 East Bypass to the traffic light at McIntire Road. Turn right onto McIntire Road. (The Rescue Squad Station is on this corner).
Follow McIntire Road to the second traffic light and the intersection with Preston Avenue. Go directly through the Preston intersection and you are on Ridge-McIntire Road. The entrance will be on your left. NOTE: The SBDC does not validate parking.
FROM U.S. 250 WEST AND THE IVY AREA:
Go east on U.S. 250 to the exit for the 250 Bypass. Get onto the 250 Bypass and go north and east toward Washington, D.C./Richmond. Do not get off the Bypass at the Washington, D.C. exit.
Stay on the Bypass until you get to the traffic light at McIntire Road. Turn right onto McIntire Road (the Rescue Squad Station is on this corner).
Follow McIntire Road to the second traffic light and the intersection with Preston Avenue. Go directly through the Preston intersection and you are on Ridge-McIntire Road. The entrance will be on your left. NOTE: The SBDC does not validate parking.
FROM U.S. 250 EAST:
Go west on U.S. 250 toward Charlottesville. Cross Free Bridge and get onto the U.S. 250 Bypass.
Stay on the Bypass to the intersection (traffic light) with McIntire Road. The Rescue Squad is at this intersection. Turn left onto McIntire Road.
Follow McIntire Road to the second traffic light and the intersection with Preston Avenue. Go directly through the Preston intersection and you are on Ridge-McIntire Road. The entrance will be on your left. NOTE: The SBDC does not validate parking.
FROM THE BARRACKS ROAD SHOPPING CENTER AREA:
Get onto Barracks Road, which runs along the north side of the shopping center. Go east toward Charlottesville, passing the Anderson's Grocery. Stay on this road.
It will change names twice. It will become a divided 4-lane street and will be called Preston Avenue. Turn right onto Ridge-McIntire Road. The entrance will be on your left. Note: The SBDC does not validate parking.
FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA AND THE CAVALIER INN AREA:
The Cavalier Inn is located at the intersection of Business U.S. 250 (Ivy Road) and Business U.S. 29 (Emmet Street). At this intersection Business U.S. 250 (Ivy Road) becomes University Avenue.
Follow University Avenue past the University of Virginia and into Charlottesville. At the intersection with Jefferson Park Avenue, University Avenue becomes West Main Street.
Follow West Main Street to its intersection with Ridge-McIntire Road. At this intersection, the Bus Station will be on your right and a statue of Lewis and Clark will be in the center of the intersection.
Turn left onto McIntire Road. The Downtown Business Center will be on your right. NOTE: The SBDC does not validate parking.
