Have fun by joining Party Parade, a series of exciting parties held annually from February until May that benefit a different local charity each year. The parties have been successful in bringing many people together for fun, entertainment, and education. The parties vary in theme, entertainment, size, and price. You'll find parties you won't want to miss.
Party Parade 2008 will benefit the Party Parade Fund to provide small grants to local non-profit organizations. The Party Parade Fund was created in 1998, the tenth anniversary of Party Parade. Since that time, it has awarded small grants to 12 local charities. The Fund's recipients in 2007 were the Boys and Girls Club of Charlottesville and Shelter for Help in Emergency. The Fund is managed by the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation.
Party Parade parties are given by hosts who contribute the entire cost of the parties. One hundred percent of the donation you make to Party Parade goes to charity.
