We have recently moved from The Ponderosa, and are now meeting at the Elk's Lodge!

Monday August 4th	Board of Directors Meeting, 5 pm at Wood Grill Buffet Restaurant. Program -- Michael Jabalee, Licensed Acupuncturist, speaking on the "Health Benefits of Acupuncture."
Monday August 11th	Meeting Location: Elk's Lodge (BPOE #389) near Darden Towe park (1/3 mi north of the Ponderosa). Program -- Tim Hulbert, President of the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce.
August 14th-17th	Capital District Kiwanis Convention in Richmond, VA
Sunday August 17th	"Triathlon" at Walnut Creek Park, 7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., benefits Child Obesity Task Force. Contact Norm Gutzler to sign-up as a volunteer.
Monday August 18th	Meeting Location: Elk's Lodge (BPOE #389) near Darden Towe park (1/3 mi north of the Ponderosa). Program -- Jim Carpenter, of Gitchell Studios, "Exciting Trends in Professional Photography"
Monday August 25th	Work Night -- The James Foundation (Stars Program); 517 Park Street, Across from First Presbyterian Church and next to the Arc of the Piedmont (parking in rear); 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.; Work includes building shelving and organizing books for their library. The Stars teenagers will prepare and serve the meal for us.
Saturday August 30th	"Charlottesville's Women's 4 Miler", 7 a.m. - 10 a.m., at Garth Rd near Foxfield. Benefits UVA Cancer Center Breast Cancer Research Program. Contact Norm Gutzler to sign-up as a volunteer.

Club meetings start at 6:30 p.m. with dinner, followed by club announcements, fifty-fifty, and happy dollars. The program is introduced at 7:30 and we end generally at 8 p.m.
