Dear Artist,

Plans for the 28th Annual Crozet Arts and Crafts Festival Shows are well under way. 2007 proved to be an exciting year with many great things happening and more to come in 2008, there is excitement in the air! Show dates for 2008:

Spring - May 10 & 11             Fall - Oct 11 & 12

Enclosed you will find the 2008 application and policy documents. Please take the time to review all of these documents carefully. The Festival Advisory Council and I are working carefully to ensure the success of the shows. 

Failure to honor the Application Policies and Guidelines can result in your work not being juried, and failure to honor the Festival Policies and Guidelines can result in your immediate dismissal from the show.  The quality of the information, photos, and slides that you provide are extremely important both to our jury process and to the caliber of publicity we can provide.  It is critical to our advertising campaign that high quality slides are submitted for use on our materials.  This is a great opportunity for additional exhibitor exposure. 

Applications for both shows will be accepted until all spaces are sold. It is possible you may be placed on a waitlist. The waitlist is compiled by media category and date of receipt. Applications will not be accepted via electronic mail.  In an effort to establish a premiere festival, we are always recruiting past and new quality exhibitors. If you know of a qualified exhibitor, please call the festival office and we will forward an application. We anticipate mailing acceptance notifications on or before Feb 15.

All proceeds from our shows go to support Claudius Crozet Park, a community non-profit recreational facility open to all. Your interest and participation in our Festivals have made possible the continued existence and improvement of our park. We are grateful for your support and look forward to working with you in 2008.
